Minutes of the October 2, 2006

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION informal Board Meeting

In the September minutes I (Tom Hytry) incorrectly put the date for the next Board Meeting for

Nov 4.  Because of this, the Board held an informal meeting on October 2.  No official actions were taken by the board.

Called to order at 7:00 p.m., present were the board members: Ned Hurley, Adam Sarauskas, Eric Paetzel, Jim Lee and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowners were also present: Carole Crum, Sandra Hurley, Jean Paetzel, Judy Palmer and Sandy Worzala.

Grounds:  The front entrenches are being done, the lights have been ordered and the size of the wording “Oak Creek” will be increased at the Winding Creek entrance to the same size and style as the Oak Creek entrance.

Pond: Mike Brommer has gotten estimates on what it would cost to clear out the “accumulated erosion sediment” in the pond. The estimate was ~25K if Town and Country would take the sediment and ~38K if they would not.  Town and Country may want it for one of their developments.  Removing the sediment would not guarantee that the pond would retain water.  No action taken.

Long Range Planning: The board and the long range planning committee is working on a plan to make improvements and repairs at Oak Creek over the next six months.  The plan may involve a special assessment.

Members of the board are getting estimates on the cost of improvement this month.

At the next board meeting a proposal will be put together.  This proposal will be included in the November minutes. A general discussion of the plan will take place at the December board meeting. If the board approves the plan a vote on it will take place at the general association meeting in January.

Next Board Meeting: Monday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m.

A Long Range Planning meeting will follow the regular meeting.
