Minutes of the July  10, 2006

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting

 

Called to order at 7:00 p.m., present were the all board members: Ned Hurley, Eric Paetzel, Adam Sarauskas, Jim Lee and Tom Hytry.

 

The following homeowners were also present: Jeanne & Michael Brommer, Amy Eccher, Dave Hanck, Jean Paetzel,  Doug & July Palmer, Donna Palmer, David & Zack Price, and Sandy Worzala.

 

Old Business:  The  trees in memory of Tracy Fahlmark and Sarah Hahn will be planted this fall which is better for the trees.

 

Clubhouse Operations:  Broken fan in the pool pump room fixed. Carpet in large room to be cleaned.

 

Pool:  New rules on renting the pool.  If you wish to rent the pool on a weekend you can start using it at 6:00 for an charge of $70.  If you wish to use it from 8:00 p.m. the charge remains $35.  Note: if you rent it starting at 6:00 you will still have to share it with homeowners.  The pool committee will be submitting at update for the web site with details of the above information.

 

Grounds:  The board approved $280 to have a contractor do a test hole on the pound to see what is down there and see what we can do.  Mike Brommer will also se if the contractor can tell us what is needed to repair the bottom soothe pond can hold water.

 

Long Range Planning Committee:  The Committee held a meeting after the board meeting.  They have decided to move ahead on the subdivision entrances ways.

 

The following is an estimate that they will be submitting to the board for repairing both the Oak Creek and Winding Creek entrances:

 

Removal of trees, shrubs, etc. around each stone structure:                    $1950

Power wash each structure 4@ $150 each                                   600

Repair and additional lighting                                                                    2500

New plantings, mulch, etc.                                                                       3000

Total                                                                                                      $8050

 

These figures are derived from quotes received from various suppliers and are considered to be accurate and competitive.  We are constantly trying to reduce prices without sacrificing quality.

 

The board will be voting on it at the August meeting.
