Long range Planning:  Waiting for the homeowners survey to be returned.

Reminder:: Roads in the subdivision are scheduled for paving first thing this spring.  For residents with Asphalt driveways, these driveways need to have a butt joint to connect with the new street.  This is not in the contract that Oswego signed with Aurora Blacktop. (see attached “Driveway Improvement Alert”). The board has contracted with Aurora Blacktop to do this for each Asphalt driveway in the neighbor.  The cost is $125 per driveway, which is less then half if each homeowner have to contract to get it done themselves.  This only applies to residents with Asphalt driveways.  If you have an Asphalt driveway please send the $125 to Carol Smith when you pay your monthly assessment. See attached notice.

Driveway Improvement Alert

We have been notified that the Village of Oswego will be paving the street in the spring of 2006.  It is not typical for them to place joints into driveways.   The Village contract does not include this service.  This creates a situation that will cause the blacktop to peel back and unravel over time where it meets the driveway.

The Oak Creek Board has arranged for Aurora Blacktop to place a butt joint into each driveway at a negotiated discount price of $125.00.  This will include grinding and asphalt installation. This will help negate any raveling that is typical after the street is completed.

The Board recognizes that this is the first time that this has been brought to your attention.  We apologize for the short notice, but hope that you will recognize the opportunity to improve your property and maintain the integrity of your driveway.

As we are on a very tight timeline, we would respectively request that you send a check for $125.00 for each driveway to:
