HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETING MINUTES
June 16,
2021

7:02 pm start – called to order
In Attendance:
Board Members – Ted Ergo, Linda Grahovec,
Eric Paetzel, Ray Mertens, Tom Hytry
Community – Sandy Worzala, Jean Paetzel, Dave Hanck, Eilleen &

Dorthy Jaramn, Jim Lee, Shirley & Alan Harderson, LeeAnn Olson, Corrinne Higgins, Kate Sweeny, George Booras.

The minutes of the May Board Meeting were approved.
Finance:
Checking $34,897 and Reserves $107,660.
Pond: Work should begin shortly on cleaning out
the pond. (May have started by the time you get these minutes.).
Redone Pond will be 1 area in size and depth will be 6 feet below water level. Cost of this phase is approx. $20K.
Legal: Board approved local area attorney to
represent the association in legal matters.
In past years, we used one associated with Ave 1000.
Committee Reports:
Grounds Committee:
A “Little Library” box
installed by the playground.
"Little Free Library is a book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. They function on the honor system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one.
If you take a book or two from the Little Free Library. Try to bring some to share."
Clubhouse Committee:
Utilities costs have been reduced by ~15% since the new windows
have been installed.
Windows and gutters will be cleaned.
Pool: Running will. Between 20 and 40 people using it each day.
(One day over 60 people visited.)
Tennis Courts:
Cracks will be patched and after that, lines redrawn.
ARC: New roof
approved for a homeowner. One project pending.
Committee will be working on determining guidelines for fencing for
lots that run along Route 71, which is being widened and a walking path being
added to our side of Route 71.
Social: June 27th: Oak Creek Homeowners Assn. Park Dedication & Pool Party (3:00 p.m.)
Information has been posted on NextDoor as well as the Pool. Flyer is also contained herein.
Goff Carts: The Board (after meeting in executive session) approved the use of Golf Carts by residents of the subdivision provided that they are driven by a licensed driver and that they have both driving lights and brake lights.
Note: the Board approval does not change any state laws covering operating them on public streets.
Reminder:
ATV’s are not permitted on any public roads including those in the Oak Creek Subdivision.
