OCTOBER
12, 2020 – ZOOM MEETING
7:01pm start – called to order
In Attendance:
Board Members – Ted Ergo, Linda Grahovec, Eric Paetzel, Ray

Community – Eileen Dunne, Jean Paetzel, Mr. & Mrs. Robinson, Marcia
Valenzeno and Sandy Worzala
The minutes of the September Board Meeting were approved.
Grounds Committee:
No representative
in attendance but overall grounds look very good
Community feels
the path looks great and is being maintained well
Board is looking
into clearing out some dead branches along the path
New tarps were
requested and approved for the tennis courts
Homeowners please note – when cutting your respective lawns,
please keep grass clippings off the road as they can become dangerous for
certain vehicles.
Clubhouse Committee:
No report
Voting will occur
at the clubhouse – it is reserved for three days
Day
one to sanitize – Day two for voting – Day three to sanitize
Architectural Review Committee:
One tree removal
request submitted and approved
One roofing
project submitted and approved
One roofing
project approved last month has commenced
New home construction
project on Oak Creek Drive going well
Social Committee:
No upcoming
events planned
If anyone is interested in planning or brainstorming on how to
have a holiday party, in-person with social distancing or to organize a virtual
holiday home tour please contact Linda Grahovec
Finance:
28K in checking,
107k in money market reserves
Haleas group to
send documentation for budgets
Pool:
No representative
in attendance
Winterization is
complete though
Welcome Committee:
Two welcome
packets distributed to 2 new residents
General Announcements:
Haleas Group working
on budgets and will provide 2021 guidance
There have been
some billing issues that they are focused on resolving for a few homeowners
Community
expressed the need to better response time to emails and phone calls
Homeowners Comments:
Brief discussion
on the pros and cons of a gated community
Consideration of
additional security cameras at the entrances
Adjourned at 7:27pm
Executive Session:
The board met in Executive session about one homeowner who is in
arrears in their monthly assessments. A
formal demand letter will be sent to them by the Association.
PLEASE NOTE:
Email
address: The Board would like to get a list of everyone’s email address to be
able to send out notices to Oak Creek for such things as monthly meetings. If you wish to be on the list, please send an
email to tom@hytry.net.
He will reply with confirmation of receipt. He will send out notices
using bcc so that everyone’s email is not visible. This will also prevent “reply-all” email
storms.
If you
received a reminder of the October meeting via email you are on the list. If not, please get on the list by sending
your preferred email address.
Next Door: If
you are not listed on the Nextdoor.com has a member of Oak Creek please let Tom
know at tom@hytrty.net.
Tom is the Oak Creek administer for Nextdoor and by requiring an invite
we limit who can get Oak Creek only messages.
Next
Association Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, November
9, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.
We will continue to use ZOOM as a matter of course and safety for
the community.
