OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES

November 9, 2020 – ZOOM MEETING

7:01pm start – called to order

In Attendance:

Board Members – Ted Ergo, Linda Grahovec, Eric Paetzel, Ray Mertens, Tom Hytry

Management Company – Haleas Group LLC

Community – Beth Johnson, Eddie Martinez, Sandy Worzala, Jean Paetzel, Doug & Judy Palmer

The minutes of the September Board Meeting were approved.

Grounds Committee:

No report

Clubhouse Committee:

All windows washed, gutter cleaned, salt in water softer refilled.

Minor repair to furnace.

Getting bids on replacement of windows and sliding down on pool side of clubhouse.

Architectural Review Commit

One roofing inquiry

Social Committee:

No upcoming events planned.

Finance:

24K in checking, 107k in money market reserves

Working on 2021 budget

One homeowner behind in assessments – letter from attorney to be send.

Pool:

Winterization is complete though

Welcome Committee:

Two welcome packets distributed to 2 new residents

General Announcements:

Golf Carts: reminder that you are sharing the road with not only cars but construction traffic.

The Carts must be equipped with head and brake lights and the driver needs to be a licensed driver.

With the winding roads in the sub-division you are hard to see.

Executive Session:

The board met in Executive session about one homeowner who is in arrears in their monthly assessments. A formal demand letter will be sent to them by the Association.

PLEASE NOTE:

Email address: The Board would like to get a list of everyone’s email address to be able to send out notices to Oak Creek for such things as monthly meetings. If you wish to be on the list, please send an email to tom@hytry.net. He will reply with confirmation of receipt. He will send out notices using bcc so that everyone’s email is not visible. This will also prevent “reply-all” email storms.

If you received a reminder of the October meeting via email you are on the list. If not, please get on the list by sending your preferred email address.

Next Door: If you are not listed on the Nextdoor.com has a member of Oak Creek please let Tom know at tom@hytrty.net. Tom is the Oak Creek administer for Nextdoor and by requiring an invite we limit who can get Oak Creek only messages.

Next Association Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.

We will continue to use ZOOM as a matter of course and safety for the community.
