July 13, 2020 Oak Creek HOA Board Meeting

This month’s meeting was held via ZOOM. The call information was posted on our website
about a week
before the meeting and on “Next Door”
indicating that we were holding the meeting via ZOOM.
All board members present: Ted Ergo, Eric Paetzel, Linda Grahovec, Ray
Mertens and Tom Hytry.
The following homeowners were also present:
Dave Hanck, Beth Johnson, Sandy Worzala,
Judy Palmer, Mandy Taylor, Lee Ann Olsen, Ed Doepel, John Wyeth, Caren Farrell and Bill Ryan – Haleas Group
The minutes of the July Board meeting were
approved.
Grounds: Gene Dunne has volunteered to spray the
walking path for weeds.
New Playground Equipment: Should
be delivered at the end of July.
Clubhouse – Looking into
Phase 4 rules for renting club house and if our insurance covers it with
the virus.
Finance: No monthly
report – information was sent out to Eric date of meeting.
Eric is getting information on association
credit card that pays back 2% for association expenses
Pool: Phase 4 allowed pool to reopen. New
rules available at the pool. The new rules should also be posted
of our web site by the time you get these minutes in
the monthly mailing.
Pool hours are constrained by the available of pool attendants (Under
phase 4 pool attendants are required.)
ARC: One new request for new roof approved.
New residence’s
in ground pool construction is moving along within all ARC
guidelines.
Emergency
Recovery Plan: At
the last meeting it was decided that that we (Oak Creek) should have an
emergency recovery plan in place in the event it is needed.
The
most likely case would be a weather-related event. The plan would likely
include the use of the clubhouse.
Ed Doepel is heading up a group to come up with that
plan. Anyone interested in helping: please contact Ed

Executive
Session: The
board met in Executive session about one homeowner who is in arrears in their
monthly
assessments. We will be talking to the
homeowners.
Haleas Group LLC: Bill
Ryan from Haleas group attended the meeting. He pointed out that payments of
the monthly assessment should be written to
Oak Creek Homeowners Association.
(More details in the month assessment mailing
from them.)

would like to get a list of everyone’s email address to be able to send out
notices
to Oak Creek for such things as monthly meetings. If you wish to be on the list
please
send me an email to tom@hytry.net. I
will reply back that I have received it.
I
will send out notices using bcc so that everyone’s email is not visible.
(This
will prevent “reply-all” email storms.)
If
you received a reminder of the July meeting via email you are on the list. If not, please get on the list by sending me
an
email.

I am
the Oak Creek administer for Nextdoor and by
requiring an invite we limit who can get Oak Creek only messages.
Next
Association Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 10,
2020 at 7:00 p.m.
We will use ZOOM once again since this last
meeting was one of the best attended – ZOOM or otherwise.
