Grounds: Entrance monuments were cleaned. Dead tree at front clubhouse parking lot

Ted Ergo removed dead
tree/branches from walking path. Path
needs clearing and old barbed wire in wood by path needs to be removed.

Please contact Ted Ergo (815 274-1535) if you want to help.
Last year of 3-year ground
contract with Semper Fi. Board will be
looking at bids for next year. (Board has no problem with Semper FI but best business practices require us to get bids.)
Clubhouse: Some clubhouse doors need weather stripping before fall. Ed Grahovec looked at the pump room door
and determined that the threshold is rotten. Will get 2 quotes to replace door.
Ted Ergo will install temporary weatherstripping. Exit sign outside women’s
bathroom needs work.
Serving of heater will need to be
done. We are also looking for a new HVAC
service provider for the clubhouse.

20K with be moved from checking to savings.
One homeowner behind in paying assessments
– issued cover by board meeting in executive session at end of the meeting.
Pool: Closing September 16. Any suggestions for pool rules/operations should be submitted to the
Board by October 10.

requests are for new roofs. Have requested additional information from
homeowner concerning expanding garage.
Avenue
1000:

Tom Hytry fall party Saturday October 12 – see
attachment.
Welcome Committee: Two new homeowners. Committee will contact two
new homeowners this month.
General: Ted Ergo commented that a resident pointed
out to him – correctly – that all dogs must be on leashes when in a common
area.
He
was walking his dogs without a leash at the time. He apologized to the meeting for not having
his dogs on a leash. And that as
President, he should
set an
example of obeying the association rules. Note: Dogs must be on leashes when in
all common areas.
Also
please blow off all grass trimming on the road after mowing. Loose clippings are a safety hazard for
bikes.
(And
it is a state law.)
Garage
Sale:
Carol Crum agreed to post signs at the entrances for the Community Garage Sale
on October 4 and 5. It was requested that notice of the Sale be posted on Nextdoor and the Subdivision website
Next Board Meeting – No October Board Meeting. Next meeting is scheduled for Monday, November
