May 2016 Oak Creek Association Meeting

MINUTES OF THE June 4 HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETING

All board members present: Al Harderson, Kim Baer, Fred Krug, Eric Paetzel and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowners were also present: Carole Crum, Jim & Janice Lee, Dorothy Jarman, Beth Johnson, Jan Cherry, Dave price, Gene Dunne, Jeanne Brommer, John & Donna Palmer, Shirley Hardersen, John & Victoria Robinson, Ray Mertens, Sandy Worzala and Art Woodward.

Fireplace Room: Work is continuing on the Fireplace Room. All work will be to current codes.

Social: There will be a fireplace room redoing/pool opening party when the above work is done.

West Hall: Insurance has rejected our claim. Board is continuing to look into options. (Will report next month on any progress/decisions.)

Finance: We have ~52K in savings and ~18K in checking for day to day operations. Being summer this will be running down due to pool expenses.

Grounds: Board approved fund for Landscaping around pool (replacing dead rose plants). Since the meeting, Dorothy Jarman purchased plants and with the help a local residents that plants have been planted at considerable saving over having a landscaper do it.

Pool: No problems with the actual pool. There has been problem with people/kids afterhours with the pool.

As special letter was send out covering the issues. Hopefully this will solve the problem. If not farther board action will be required.

Nextdoor: Currently 56 homeowners have signed with our “Nextdoor” service. If you have not done so please sign up.

If you are getting unwanted message from outside of Oak Creek, go to the “Nearby Neighborhoods” and remove all neighborhoods that you don’t want messages from.
