OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION INC.

Minutes of the November 9, 2015 meeting of the board of the Oak Creek Homeowners Association

All board members present: Al Harderson, Eric Paetzel, Kim Baer, Mike & Rebecca Bender and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowners were also present: Jim Lee, Carole Crum, Dr. Doug & Judy Palmer, Dorothy Jarman, Beth Johnson, Sandy Worzala and Gene & Eileen Dune.

Finance: Currently we have $73K is assets. 2016 budget draft should be ready at the December meeting. Will determine at that meeting if we need to ask for a monthly assessment increase at the January meeting.

Architectural Committee: The association is governed my our covenants. These include what needs to be approved by the architectural committee when changes or additional are done to the outside of properties in the subdivision. Every homeowners was given a copy of the covenants when they closed on there property. The Oakcreekhomeowners.org website also contains a up-to-date copy of the covenants.

Suggested changes to the covenants are included in this month’s assessment letter.

These changes with be discussed at the December meeting and if at the meeting it is decided to go forward with them it will be send to the homeowners to vote on them.

(Note: convent changes require a positive vote by ¾ of the homeowners to pasts.

An abstention is recorded as a no vote.)

Clubhouse: There is a structural problem with the roof beams in the fireplace room

which was caused by the heavy snow last winter. The problem is being looked into and may require costly repairs.

Association Holiday Social: A holiday get together is scheduled for Friday December 4 at the club house starting at 6:30 p.m. Please bring something to pass around. The Association will provide: plastic cups, plates, forks and paper ware. Bring your own drink ingredients.

Next Board meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday, December 7.
