HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION INC.
Minutes of the February 16, 2015 meeting of the board of the Oak Creek Homeowners Association.
All board member were present: Al Harderson, Michael Bender and Tom Hytry.
The following homeowners were also present: John Wyeth,
Carle Crum, Dorothy Jarman, Jim Lee,
Gene Dunne, Rebecca Bender, Kim Baer, Eric Paetzel, Carson Booras, George
Booras, Jeanne Brommer and Dave Hanck.
First Order of Business – New Board Members: Eric Paetzel and Kim Baer both volunteered to be on the board. They were elected. In addition, Rebecca Bender will service jointly with Mike (since Mike is out of town on business and cannot make all of the meetings.)
Al Harderson will be chairman, Eric Paetzel treasurer, Tom Hytry Secretary.
Committees: Club House: Carole Crum and Beth Johnson
Pool: Jeanne Brommer. Social: Tom Hytry
Grounds.: Michael Bender Architectural: Jim Lee
Finance: Current assists ~67K. The 2015 draft budget will be presented at the March meeting. Committee head will present their needs at the meeting.
Morgan Creek Drainage District: John Wyeth gave a report of what has been happening concerning the proposal to “Reactivate” the Morgan Creek Drainage District.
The court has determined that it can be reactivated but comes under the County Board which needed to reactive it. To this end, the County Board will be appointing three commissioners include our own resident Jim Lee. More from Jim Lee at the March meeting.
Grounds: George
Booras as volunteered to look at options on improving the playground.
This could be the one improvement project for the year.
We are also looking into fixing the walking path and what chemicals are used to control the weeds.
The tennis courts will also need to be resurfaced this year.
Rental Committee: Randy Olson has volunteers to form a committee to look into how the board can/should make rules on the renting of homes in the subdivision by the home owners.
Social/Pool: This will be a join committee meeting after the April board meeting to look at kids activities the a homeowners may want to sponsor for the summer months.
Next Board meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday March 16.
