October 2014 OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Minutes

Minutes of the October 6, 2014 meeting of the board of the Oak Creek Homeowners Association.

Board member present: Gene Dunne, Al Harderson, Fred Krug, Mike Bender and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowner was also present: Porcia Mandel, Carole Crum, John Wyeth, Jim & Janice Lee and Sandy Worzala.

Finance: We have ~58K in assess.

Morgan Creek Drainage District: John Wyeth gave a overview of what has happen concerning the proposal to “Reactivate” the Morgan Creek Drainage District.

Note: next public meeting/court date is on November 7. John can use the support of homeowners at the court.

The board voted at the August meeting to have John represent us with the court system on this issue.

On the minutes page of the web site I have added a map of the Drainage District and a explanation of what a watershed shed is.

Grounds. 9 dead or dying Ash trees on clubhouse grounds have been cut down.

The stumps have been removed and the small branches shredded. Cost ~$2600.

The larger branches where cut into smaller lengths and are being cut up into firewood.

Free firewood – Saturday mornings between 8-12, association members with be cutting up the tree branches into firewood (we have a splitter) until they are all gone. For more information place contact Mike Bender semperparatus@reagan.com.
