OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION INC.

 

Minutes of the March 3, 2014 meeting of the board of the Oak Creek Homeowners Association.

 

Board member were present: Fred Krug, Al Harderson, Michael Bender and Tom Hytry.

 

The following homeowner was also present: Carle Crum.

 

Finance:  The vote on the proposed budget for 2014 was delayed until next month since the notice that it was available on the website was not included in the February assessment letter.  It also needed to be updated to show increased fees from Ave 1000.   The new budget will be voted on at the April meeting.

 

The proposed budget is on the web site on the “minutes” page just under these minutes.

 

Next year’s budget includes $102K in expenses with Association income of $73K leaving

the need to use $29K from reserves.

 

The reason for the deficit is work needed on the pool including redoing the pool surface (~30K), replacing the sand and filers (~1.5K) and getting a robot cleaner.

Clubhouse: New blinds installed. Fireplace flue is frozen partially open, cannot be fixed until spring.

 

Social: The next social event with be the pool opening in May.  The social committee is planning on making this a major event to encourage our new neighbors to get to know the neighborhood.
