December OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Minutes

 

Minutes of the December 1, 2014 meeting of the board of the Oak Creek Homeowners Association.

 

All board member present: Gene Dunne, Al Harderson Mike Bender, Fred Krug and Tom Hytry.

 

The following homeowner was also present: Carole Crum,  John Wyeth, Lee & Portia Maudel, Sandy Worzala, Chris Fisher and Randy Olsen..

 

Morgan Creek Drainage District: John Wyeth gave a report of what has been happening concerning the proposal to “Reactivate” the Morgan Creek Drainage District.

Noting has changed since the last meeting. The next court meeting on it will be January 15. (See last month’s update on the minutes page of our web site.)

 

The board voted at the August meeting to have John represent us with the court system on this issue.

 

Finance: We have ~60K in assess. (Paid out ~1.5 for tree removal)

 

Grounds: Stumps have been removed, one burned out light on the tennis court has been replaced.

 

Association Minutes: By request, the minutes from the Association minutes will once again be included in the monthly assessment letter.

 

Executive Session of the Board: At per the by-laws: the board meet in executive session

to confirm the fines that were placed on 61 Winding Creed for not repairing the outside

of the house in a timely matter. The board voted at this board meeting to make their decision of the executive session official.

 

(Note: As per the by-laws: details of the decision will be make available when it is no longer necessary to maintain the confidentiality of the matters discussed.)

 

Annual Meeting: The Annual Meeting to elect new board members will be the first Monday in January (January 5). Three new board members will be elected. The three openings are the seats held by Gene Dunne, Fred Krug and Tom Hytry.

 

(Note: I plan to run again as I am programmed to show up at the clubhouse on the first Monday of each month anyways –but both Gene and Fred have been on the board at least two terms and will not be returning) 

 

This meeting is a good time for homeowners to give input into what the board should do or not do in the coming year. 

 

Next Board meeting will be at 7:00 on the Monday, January 5.
