April 2014 OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION INC.

Minutes of the April 7, 2014 meeting of the board of the Oak Creek Homeowners Association.

Board member present: Gene Dunne, Fred Krug, Al Harderson and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowner was also present: Carole Crum, Beth Johnson, Dorothy Jarman Carle Crum, Jim Lee, Jeanne Brommer, Tom Novak and Dave Hanck.

Finance: 96K in assets. 2014 budget is approved. Same as draft budget listed on website minutes page.

Grounds: Entrance light to be replaced.

Weed control on path: The ground person recommended that we wait until mid May.  If we treat now, with the limited amount of weeds, the kill will be small and we will need to repeat in 4 to 6 weeks. If we wait until the weeds have mostly emerged, we can get away with a May treatment and an August/September treatment.

Will bring in Arborist to look at the Ash trees to see which can be saved.

Pool: Moving ahead on pool resurfacing, will be done before pool season.

Tiles with be replaced as needed- 30.2K

Robotic vacuum will be purchased – 2.5K

Clubhouse: Looking at changing how clubhouse phone is billed. Lower cost by having

measured service.

Social: The next social event with be the one week after pool opening in May.- May 31 (rain date June 1). The social committee is planning on making this a major event to encourage our new neighbors to get to know the neighborhood. Events are being planned for both adults and kids.
