Minutes of the April 2, 2012

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting

Called to order at 7:00 p.m., All board members present: Dorothy Jarman, Gene Dunne, Fred Krug, Tom Novak and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowners were also present: Carole Crum, Sandy Worzala, Eileen Dunne and Jeanne Brommer.

Finance: Current assets are at ~88K

Pool: Jeanne Brommer has volunteered to be the new Pool Chairman. The board and Dorothy thank you. Jeanne can be contacted via email at pool@oakcreekhomeowners.org.

Grounds: Area around the retention pond has been thinned out and the pampas grass controlled. Cost for the project was ~$1500.

New seats and chains will be installed in the swing set in the play area. Cost ~$400.

Bench in play area will be “firmed up”.

Path will be sprayed for weeds.

Clubhouse: Four round tables will be purchased to replace four of the old long tables.

This will allow for a mix of long and round tables for parties.

The microwave oven in the club house kitchen is on its last lap. If you have a cabinet top microwave to donate to the clubhouse please contact Carole Crum at 630 553-1000.

Dogs: The board received a complaint from a homeowner about some of the homeowners walking their dogs without a leash and also letting their dogs roam beyond their yards without a leash.

Reminder: The Covenants state that “Dogs … must be contained on owner’s premises or on a leash in other areas.”

Association Wide Garage Sale: The association is planning on having an Oak Creek Garage Sale on October 5/6. More details to follow.

Next Board meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday May 7.
