Minutes of the May 2, 2011

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting

Called to order at 7:01 p.m., all board members present: Dorothy Jarman, Dave Hanck, Gene Dunn, Fred Krug and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowners were also present: Carole Crum, Tom Novak, Donna Palmer, Sandy Worzala.

From the Chair: We hope the garage sale was successful for all who participated. If there is enough interest, we could consider hosting another subdivision garage sale in the fall. This will be discussed at future homeowner meetings.

A big thank you goes out to Jim Lee and his son for putting up the tennis court nets. We appreciate your efforts and the time it took to complete the task. The courts look great and are ready for another enjoyable season.

Finance: Currently we have $76,000 in assets.

Grounds: Weed control will be applied to the walking path around the pond.

Retention Pond: The area around the pond is to be cleaned up. Brush will be removed.

The pampas grass will be removed. Trees around the pond will be trimmed. This should improve the view of the pond and help with the mowing.

Pool: The pool will be opened on Saturday, May 28 at noon. The pool gate number has been changed. It will be given to residents as they come to the pool with their consent forms. The consent forms are on the pool web page at oakcreekhomeowners.org. This year pool rules will also be on that page (the rules have not changed from last year.)

This is a reminder from the pool committee. The pool attendants will uniformly enforce the pool rules.

Since we had a problem last year with kids getting into the pool late at night the board will be asking that the police patrol the neighborhood at night.

Social: The social committee decided that last year’s Margarita nights by the pool was a success. Therefore, we are extending these nights to include the first Thursdays of each month the pool is open. The first one will be Thursday, June 2 starting at 8:00 p.m. See Flyer in this mailing. The Association will provide: ice, blender, plastic cups, salsa and chips. Bring your own drink ingredients.

Next Board meeting will be at 7:00 on Monday, June 6.
