Minutes of the June 6, 2011

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting

Called to order at 7:01 p.m., all board members present: Dorothy Jarman, Dave Hanck, Gene Dunn, Fred Krug and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowners were also present: Carole Crum, Jim Lee, Linda DeWitte, Paul Augius, Ray Mertens, Tom Novak, Donna Palmer, Michael & Rebecca Bender, Sandy Worzala.

Finance: Currently we have ~84,000 in assets. The increase (~$6,400) is due to recovering back association fees from the sale of 36 Oak Creek Dr.

Clubhouse: Outside painting should be done by the time you are reading theses minutes.

Garage Sale: The board is considering hosting another subdivision garage sale the first weekend in October. This will be discussed at future homeowner meetings.

Pool: There have been a number of complaints about the conduct of individuals at the pool. Because of this the pool rules are being revised. You should be getting a copy of the new rules in the mail along with a letter from the board. The pool attendants will uniformly enforce the pool rules.

Since we had a problem last year with kids getting into the pool late at night the board has asked the police to patrol the neighborhood at night. They have agreed to do so.

The board would like to thank Dave Hanck, Donna Palmer and John Tunnel for their time and hard work getting the pool ready for another enjoyable summer season. We all benefit from their efforts.

New Homeowners: Please help welcome our new homeowners Michael & Rebecca Bender at 36 Oak Creek Drive.

Social: The social committee decided that last year’s Margarita nights by the pool were a success. Therefore, we are extending these nights to include the first Thursdays of each month the pool is open. The next one will be Thursday, July 7 starting at 8:00 p.m. See flyer in this mailing. The Association will provide: ice, blender, plastic cups, salsa and chips. Bring your own drink ingredients.

Next Board meeting will be at 7:00 on the second Monday, July 11.
