Minutes of the March 1, 2010

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting

Called to order at 7:05 p.m., the following board members were present: Dorothy Jarman, George Booras, Dave Hanck and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowners were also present: Tom Novak and Jeff Johnson

New President: Dorothy Jarman has accepted the job as president of the association

Finance: The 2010 budget was approved. A copy of the budget is on the Oak Creek

website on the minutes page under the March 2010 minutes. The association current assets are ~$52K.

Grounds: Semper Fi Yard contract for 2010 landscaping was approved. They are the same company that did our landscaping in 2009.

Pool: Parts have been ordered and the contract signed to bring the pool up to the new state

standards for the coming season. This includes new drain and electrical. Cost is ~$2400.

IL Highway 71: IDOT is currently looking at improving route 71 from IL 47 to Orchard Rd.

They have asked for input from stakeholders. The first meeting was attended by

Jeff Johnson, George Booras and Jim Lee for Oak Creek. Jeff Johnson will be our

representative at future IDOT meetings.

IDOT plans to enlarge 71 to four lanes in the next 5 to 6 years. Some of the input from Oak Creek at the first meeting was making sure there are safe left and right turn lines and putting up sound barriers.

IDOT next meeting is in July.

Next Meeting: The next meeting will be the first Monday in April (April 5) at 7:00 p.m.
