Minutes of the January 11, 2010 Annual meeting of Oak Creek Homeowners Association and minutes of the January 11, 2010 Board Meeting.

Minutes of the Annual meeting:

Election of three members to the governing board: Three openings on the board were up for election. The following three homeowners stepped forward and were elected to the board: Dorothy Jarman, Dave Hanck and George Booras. Retiring from the board are Ned Hurley, Adam Sarauskas and Eric Paetzel. Jim Lee and Tom Hytry’s term on the board runs for one more year.

The board officers for this year are:

Jim Lee – President (hopefully)

George Booras – Treasurer

Tom Hytry – Secretary

Finance: The association ended the year with $46,356.14. This was an increase from last year. The main reason for the increase in assets was the cold summer. The pool came in over $5000 under budget. If we would have had a normal summer the association would have ended the year with less funds than at the beginning of the year. Monthly assessments: Due to the fact that at $75 per month the association has no room for making improvements and handling any major problem without going into the reserves, the board proposed increasing the monthly assessment. After a discussion with the homeowners an increase in assessment to $85 per month starting in February was proposed. It was then voted on and approved by the homeowners present at the meeting. No special assessment is planned for this year.

Next Board meeting will be at 7:00 on Monday February 1. Please note that this is the first Monday of the month and not the second.
