Minutes from the February 1, 2010, Oak Creek Homeowners Association Meeting

I was not able to attend the February meeting. I would like to thank Dave Hanck to taking

the minutes in my absent.

The next meeting is Monday, March 1.

The only committee reports @ this time was in regards to the pool, I was able to obtain approval of a simple unblockable main drain grate cover that will comply with the new VGB code which entails bather entrapment from a state of IL IDPH engineer without having to get a certified engineer involved to re-design our main drain. Cost for said cover will be $ 1,350.00. We also had a discussion about a new required GFI fault protection system that is required on all pools per Kendall county code official which we never have had. We have one bid for $ 2,200.00 we will table and obtain more bids. 

I regards to grounds we would like to see proposed bid from Semper Fi to see what is included in the annual cost, nothing new from clubhouse.

We discussed the new 2010 budget, George Booras has prepared a preliminary budget based on last years figures which we discussed each category to go over costs. We will table and discuss @ next month's meeting with a full quorum.

Old Business:

The discussion was brought up about residents that are behind in paying assessments of 3 months or more should loose clubhouse & pool privileges until they are current. We think it is unfair to everyone else who pays their assessments on time.

We also talked about adult children of residents that show up @ the pool without the resident with them. Apparently this had been happening quite often and on busy weekends & holidays the pool was very crowded.We discussed that we need to have the adult children either on the resident consent form or needing prior approval from pool chairperson.
