Minutes of the Annual
meeting:
Election of three members to the governing board: Three openings on the board were up for election. The current members: Ned Hurley, Eric Paetzel and Adam Sarauskas volunteered to run again. Since there were no other candidates they were reelected unanimously.
Ned Hurley, speaking for the board thanked the following committee members for their work this past year:
Entranceways: Doug & Judy Palmer, Amy Eccher
Pool: Dave Hanck
Landscaping around pool: Beth Johnson
Pool cement expansion and walkways: Doug Palmer
Grounds: Eric Paetzel
Clubhouse: Carol Crum, Sandy Worzala
Ned also went over all of the improvements made last year:
Entrance ways
New well
New electric service in clubhouse
New windows (12) and insulation in clubhouse (which saved $1400 in utilities last year)
New handicap assessable entry to club house
Pool improvements including deck expansion, new fence and new landscaping.
Finance: The association ended the year with $54,450.77
which is $54.72 higher than last year even with all of the above improvements. Attach to these minutes is a financial report

Monthly
assessments remain at $75 per month. –

Special Assessment: The board passed a second special assessment for 2008. This assessment was planned for during the 2007 annual meeting and will be used to:
Redo the tennis courts
New fence around the courts
Redo the driveways.
The special assessment will be $450 payable in four
installments starting with the March 1 homeowners billing and continuing
monthly through the June 1 billing. A
late fee will apply to any installments that are more than 30 day overdue.
Election of board
officers
The board officers will remain the same as last year:
President: Ned Hurley
Treasurer: Adam Sarauskas
Secretary: Tom Hytry
Roofing Materials: It was decided that at the next meeting a committee will be formed to reopen what type of roofing materials will be allowed in the subdivision.
Fire Update: Ned talked to the Sheriff’s department. They are still looking at leads and have nothing concrete to report.
Political Signs: A question was raised about homeowners placing political signs on their lawns. Larry Serlin, our association lawyer, was at the meeting. It was his view that the association could not band political signs from people’s lawns. Political signs on common areas and on vacant lots are not allowed.
Next Board meeting will be at 7:00 on Monday February 11. Please note that this is the second Monday of the month and not the first.
