Minutes of the August 4, 2008

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting

Called to order at 7:03 p.m., present were all board members: Ned Hurley, Eric Paetzel, Adam Sarauskas and Tom Hytry.

The following homeowners were also present: Carole Crum, Dave Hanck, Bev & Tom Novak, Sandy Worzala.

Grounds: Estimates for repaving the club driveway: Front/Rear $34,000, Rear only $20,000,

The board is getting additional estimates.

Pool: The uneven cement slabs by the pool have been raised.

Tennis Courts: The tennis courts are down to three working lights. We look at the issue next spring.

The tennis courts are to be used just for tennis. The surface can be damaged if use for other things. The redoing of the courts cost us (the homeowners) over $30,000 and we want to keep them in good condition for as long as possible. Warning letters have been written to two homeowners whose sons were using the courts for things other than tennis. The board has the power to fine homeowners that misuse the courts.

Club House: The club house committee is looking into getting blinds for the southern (sunny) windows to help reduce cooling costs.

Insurance Costs: Ned is looking into club house insurance costs to see if you can reduce it.

Next Meeting: The next meeting will be the Second Monday in September (September 8) at 7:00 p.m.
