Minutes of the May 7, 2007

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting

 

Called to order at 7:00 p.m., present were the following board members: Ned Hurley, Eric Paetzelm,  Jim Lee,  and Tom Hytry.

 

The following homeowners were also present: Everett Best, Ken & Jan Cheery, Carole Crum, Tom Novak, Dave Hanck, Brad Jarman, Mark & Trai Pankuch, Doug Palmer, Beth Johnson, Art Woodward, Sandy Worzala, and Jean Paetzel.

 

Report on Fire at 38 Winding Creek Rd: The new residents, Mark & Trai Pankuch gave an update on the fire at their house. The state fire marshal has stated that it was arson.  They have some finger prints but it will take a few months to see if they lead anywhere.  The investigation is currently in the hands of the Kendall Country Sheriff Department.

 

The house will have to be taken down, the owners are waiting permission to take it down from the Sheriff Department.

 

If anyone has any information on the fire please contact either the Kendall County Sheriff Department or Kendall County Crime Stoppers (630-745-1758).  There is a reward for information leading to the arrest of the arsonist.

Grounds:  The new well is in and will be ready for the pool opening.

 

Pool: The website oakcreekhomeowners.org has the 2007 pool rules listed on the “pool” page.  Code for pool entrance is 528

 

The new cement work and fence will be done in time for the pool opening.

 

Old Business: Homeowners at 3,11,15,19 on Oak Creek Drive have requested board approval to put up a common 6’ tall Cedar wood fence at the back of their lots to help

reduce traffic noise from Highway 71.  The board  contacted Oak Creek’s lawyer concerning the fencing covenant Article III, Section 12F and what options they have on this issue.  After reading the layer respond that fence was not approved.
