Minutes of the April 2, 2007

OAK CREEK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting

 

Called to order at 7:00 p.m., present were the following board members: Ned Hurley, Eric Paetzelm, Adam Sarauskas and Tom Hytry.

 

The following homeowners were also present:  Beverly and Tom Novak, Dave Hanck, Sandy Hurley,  Doug Palmer, Tyler Temple, Jeff & Karen White, Sandy Worzala, and Jean Paetzel.

 

The Oak Creek Homeowners Association Board and many Oak Creek residents were disturbed to hear of the vandalism at 38 Winding Creek Rd.  The new residents, Mark & Trai Pankuch were about to move into their new home when this incident occurred.  We wish you well and hope you will have many good experiences in the future and enjoy living in Oak Creek.

 

Treasurer’s Report: The new budget was approved.  A copy of this year’s budget is on the Oak Creek web site (next to this month’s minutes.) The budget does not include the items that are planned through the special assessment that we had in February.  Current assests are $54K.

 

Clubhouse:  13 new windows were repaired. Cost of ~$1,500.

 

Grounds: The new well is being put in and the old one capped. Cost estimate of ~18K.

Final cost of the entrance way improvements $10,300.

 

Pool: The pool committee has changed the daily schedule:

                        8:00 – 11:00 a.m. Adult only swim

                        11:00 – 7:00 p.m. Kids – attendent on duty

                        7:00 – 8:00p.m.: Kids can swim if parents present.

                        8:00- 9:00 p.m. – Adult only swim

This will be reflected in this years pool rules.

Pool opens on Saturday, May 26.

 

Long Range Planning: Current plans for the pool:

                        Take down current fence.

                        Extend walk way on south side ( opposite side from club house) by 9-ft.

                        Install new fence (black iron look).

Redo cement entrance path to clubhouse.

 

New Business: Homeowners at 3,11,15,19 on Oak Creek Drive have requested board approval to put up a common 6’ tall Cedar wood fence at the back of their lots to help

reduce traffic noise from Highway 71.  The board is contacting Oak Creek’s lawyer concerning the fencing covenant Article III, Section 12F and what options they have on this issue.
